Major Shift in Learning in the US

In September 2019, Pearson published their 2019 Global Learner Survey, in which they surveyed 11,000 learners in 19 countries. The goal was to get updated perspectives on how people are learning around the world.

SimuLearn cherry-picked the most significant data from participants in the USA and compiled the infographic below.

The trend is very clear. Learners say that technology matters but developing human skills is equally important for future workplace success. They are taking their education and training into their own hands, largely pursing 'self-service' courses. There is a major shift towards DIY education.
